Sahil Mirzayev, MD
Sahil Mirzayev graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University in 1998 with an honors diploma. In 1999 he had an internship at the Republican Neurosurgery Hospital, specializing in neurosurgery. From 2000 to 2017, he served as a military doctor in the State Border Service and is currently a resigned lieutenant colonel of medical service. From February 2018 to the present, he has been working as an emergency physician at Mediclub Clinic, and since December 2019, he has been working as an occupational health physician at the Shah Deniz project of BP. He is the co-author of the manual “First aid, prevention, and treatment of snakebites”, articles “Neurological dilemma: how to distinguish central paralysis of the facial nerve from peripheral paralysis”, “Mnemonics and other cognitive tools for memory in medical education and daily practice”. He has participated in courses and training such as International Trauma Life Support Advanced Provider Course (ITLS), American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider Course, American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor course, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Course, Stanford University Online Emergency Medicine Interactive Course, Stanford University Online Training on COVID-19 for health providers and others. He speaks Russian and English.
